I decided to start ¡Salve! after researching various online tutoring agencies and realised that there was a gap in the market for a personalised language-learning experience from the comfort of your own home. You don’t need a dictionary, you don’t need to buy a special book. We will provide all the resources you need.
In 2019, I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 in Spanish and Italian. The results from my oral language exams were higher than I could ever have imagined, so much so that I achieved a distinction in my spoken Italian and the highest first I ever received in my academic career in my spoken Spanish. I know why my communicative skills are so good and that is because I love to talk. (My family would definitely agree with that and perhaps say I talk too much at times). Talking is the only way you can improve your language. Talking to people allows you to keep up with modern colloquialisms and allows you to expand your vocabulary rather than just talking about the weather and politics. ¡Salve! is designed to help absolutely everyone. From beginners, to those studying for their GCSEs / A Levels, those in further education who need conversation practice, those who are in need of a refresher... absolutely anyone!
